'We learn from our families'

What do we learn from our families?

We learn how to read!

Thank you to those parents who have been into K2 to read a story or sing a song with the children. They have really enjoyed it!

If anyone else would like to volunteer to come in and read then please put your name down on the list on the K2 noticeboard.

 

 

Maths 

- Measuring different objects in the classroom.

-Recognising numbers 11 to 20.

Literacy  

- Listening to the sounds around us.

- Reviewing the letter sounds we know.

- Blending and segmenting simple 3 letter words together.

- Predicting what will happen next in a story.

UOI - Mr Xavi came into K2 to talk about his family in Brazil.We made masks and danced to samba music like the Brazilian people do!

 -Talking about our families and their roles around the world.

- Miss Emmi will come into K2 to talk about families in America.

- Comparing the objects. Which is the largest? Which is the smallest?

-Practicing forming the letters in many different ways.

- Writing our names.

- Continuing to learn the letter sounds.
