Online Learning Week 3

Well done everyone!

Another fantastic week of online learning :)

It's great to see the amount of time and effort parents are putting into helping the children learn at home.

This Week......

UOI

For the rest of the year we will be working on 2 Units of inquiry at the same time.

Central idea: We create a school culture through the shared journeys we take

Finding Out - We found out about the continent Africa.

English

 - Learn the sound 'z'

- Reviewing the sounds 's,a,t,p,i,n,c,k,e,h,r,m,d,o,u,f, ai, oa, ie, ee,w’.

- Continuing to learn how to blend and segment simple CVC words. i.e sat, cat, pat.

- Read 'The Little Red Hen'.

Maths

- Measuring the length of different items using non-standard units.

After the holidays......

Independent learning PSED skills Play the emotions board game (I will email this to you) เล่นเกมส์ที่บ่งบอกความรู้สึก Or หรือ Make a card for a friend in K2. Take a photograph and send it  via the line app to your friend. Maybe you can tell them that you’re missing them :)  ทำการ์ดให้กับเพื่อนๆในห้อง k2. ถ่ายรูปแล้วส่งมาในไลน์ให้เพื่อนๆ หรืออาจจะบอกเพื่อนด้วยว่าเราคิดถึง

Play based Learning Ideas

Make a puppet theatre Make a number line for your house.

Can you make some words with lego or blocks? Make an alphabet on the floor.

Draw a picture of your friends/ make them out of lego/ make them out of sticks. Use your imagination. Make your own town out of play dough.

Make The Australian bush or the Great Barrier Reef

Do an aboriginal dot painting. Make a boomerang.
